Back when I had to commute over an hour to work, I'd listen to a whole bunch of true crime podcasts during the drive. I was fascinated by these stories.

A common argument for people opposed to true crime as a genre claim it's a violation of consent and privacy when it comes to the victims and their families.

In my opinion, these stories should be told in a way that honors the victims, their loved ones, and informs people of dangers in the world.

One of the leading shows for fans of true crime is ABC's 20/20. This program features stellar investigative reporting focusing in on a true crime story. There are interviews from key figures in cases and character driven narratives that (at least in my opinion) are respectful of the victims.

I did some digging and found Colorado cases that have been featured on the show over the years.
