I don't know what it is about my neighborhood, or maybe my street in particular, but every Halloween, it feels like a dead zone for trick-or-treaters. The kids don't come by, and we are left with a large bowl of candies that neither my wife nor I can seem to resist.

I will tell you right now, it was not candy corn, because there is only a small population that actually likes the taste. However, I did not think that the most popular candy in Colorado, based on Google Trends search data in October over the past five years, would be what it is.
