One of the biggest changes we could see with a stadium of this magnitude is a retractable roof stadium. A feature such as this would open the possibility of Denver, Colorado, being able to host a Super Bowl game in the future, as well as other world-class events.

Funded Without New Taxes

What's more is that the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group would be funding this endeavor with no new taxes on Coloradans. The proposed area for the new stadium for the Denver Broncos would be a dynamic mixed-use district that would ensure benefits extend far beyond game days for the Broncos and other events held at the stadium.

Target Location: Burnham Yard

The targeted completion for the new stadium located in the Burnham Yard area, just southeast of Interstate 25 and Colfax, is before the 2031 NFL season. As a Denver Broncos fan, this is certainly exciting news, not only for the possibility of a new stadium but for Colorado as a whole. See the full release on Facebook.
