A Mexican restaurant in Colorado is back after closing nearly seven years ago. This restaurant has been featured on food television shows for its humongous burritos. When it was open, it was one of my favorite places to get a breakfast burrito in Denver. Sadly, all locations closed in 2018 after the owners filed for divorce.

Colorado Famous Giant Breakfast Burrito

Known for its huge breakfast burrito weighing approximately seven pounds, this ultimate food challenge was featured on Man VS Food with Adam Richman. Adam never finished the giant burrito, by the way. Jack N Grill was a go-to place for excellent New Mexican food and had three locations in the Denver Metro Area.

When the original and last remaining location of Jack N Grill closed in 2018, I was pretty sad to see it go away. Thankfully, Jack N Grill will be returning to a brick-and-mortar location this fall. Jack Martinez, the son of the founder of Jack-N-Grill has been operating a food truck called Jack N Grill 2 since 2022. Jack-N-Grill 2 has been flying under the radar for the past two years. According to Westword.com, Jack-N-Grill will be reopening at a new location under the name Jack N Grill 2 in November.

Jack N Grill Comes Back to Colorado

Jack N Grill 2 will be opening inside of the Boombox Brew Bar located at 5686 Pecos Street and we cannot wait to have a bite from Jack N Grill again. It will be like taking a trip down memory lane but for your tastebuds. Jack N Grill 2 will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. More information on Jack N Grill 2 can be found on Facebook.

This Local Colorado Mexican Restaurant Is One Of The Best

After opening in 2008, Las Palmeras Mexican Restaurant has become one of the area's very best locally-owned places to get delicious, and authentic Mexican food. We found this place by accident years ago while driving hungry down Main Street in Longmont and have been regulars ever since.

The owner, the staff, the food, and the drinks are all top notch and that's what makes this one of Colorado's top choices for delicious Mexican food. It's also a perfect place to watch sports!
