We're only a few weeks into summer, and my 8-year-old is already bored. So very bored. So yesterday we made a summertime bucket list, and there are some pretty cool places to explore.

Here's what's on our Northern Colorado bucket list.

Fly High Trampoline Park

Because if your child doesn't go into the summer wearing some sort of cast, then is it even summer? Are you even a parent?

But seriously, my kids have always loved Fly High because they are all adrenaline junkies. Located in Fort Collins, on the Southwest part of town, more info at FlyHigh.com

The Old Town Fort Collins Public Library

Reading is a big one because it's important to keep your kids reading throughout the summer so they don't slide backward in skills. Luckily, Northern Colorado has some pretty awesome reading programs currently happening at the library.

While I live closer to the Harmony Library, there's something so cool about the Old Town Library location. Not only can you join the summer reading program, but there's also a park on the premises that's perfect for a good mix of learning and play.

Located on Mason Court, you can find more info at poudrelibraries.org

Cinemark Movie Theatre

Trips to the movie theatre are a big deal in my family. We've seen the movie Michael 3 times already. Our daughter, Murphy, loves Michael Jackson so much.

That's why the Summer Movie Clubhouse is next level. For only a buck seventY five you can see a kids movie every Wednesday morning. At this price, you can probably not only take your kid, but maybe also a friend, because why not?

For a complete list of movies playing this summer at Cinemark for the Summer Movie Clubhouse can be found at Cinemark.com.

City Park Pool

The City Park Pool, located in Fort Collins, is a major must-do on our summertime bucket list. With a lazy river and some seriously big slides, the city park pool has pretty much everything your child will need to have a blast.

Ticket information for the city park pool is available at fortcollins.gov.

So start your 2026 summer bucket list today.
