For what seemed like a really long run, breweries across the State of Colorado were popping up left and right, making the state the proverbial mecca of craft beer in the entirety of the United States.

Sadly, over the last handful of years, so many of our favorites have slowly disappeared, and it seems another one of those is in line to do the same.

Charming and tucked into the fabric of the neighborhood, the independent brewery was opened by three normal - and hilarious - dudes who met while they all worked together at Avery Brewing Company in Boulder. They honed their craft, got together some plans and took their talents to Denver, so to speak, opening Call To Arms in 2015.

Now in a pretty hilarious video posted to their social media accounts, they announced - via a clown on a unicycle, delivering the bad news - that due to a handful of unforeseen circumstances creating challenges for running the brewery the last few years, they will be officially closing their doors on December 23.

The good news is they're giving you enough advanced notice that you have time to get down there and try it for yourself, as it's truly one of the coolest little spots in the state.
