Lego Is Finally Opening a Colorado Store North of Denver
Friday is the date - September 12, 2025. Mark it down on your calendar as your childhood dreams turn into adult receipts, whether you take your own kids or not. A new Lego store is opening - Colorado's third - at Flatiron's Crossing in Broomfield, the northernmost of the three in the state.
If you've never been to a Lego store, I can say definitively you are missing out. My own daughters - aged 4 and 7 - LOVE Legos, and especially love the fact that they inherited all of mine from when I was their age 40-something years ago.

I still love sitting down and building stuff with them, with nothing but imagination from scratch of all my old Legos that belonged to some set. We also enjoy buying new sets and building those too. No matter how you slice it, it's still fun for all ages.
The new store will be over 2,200 square feet - one of 121 nationally - and feature exclusive in-store deals, interactive displays and best of all, experts on site to help you come up with your next big Lego project.

The in-store deals will run from their first day open, Sept 12, through the 21st of the month. 9News has an official list of what their specials will be each day, but supplies are limited so you'll want to make sure you get going early each day.
There's nothing more fun than a cold day, making some hot chocolate and spreading a million Legos out on the floor with your kids for a lazy Sunday morning and just building stuff. You just need to remember to pick them all up, otherwise you 100% will be stepping on one barefoot in the middle of the night on your way for a glass of water.
