After closing its location in The Orchards shopping mall a few years back, the popular outdoor and recreation store has finally opened another new location north of Denver.
New REI Colorado Location Now Open
REI, which has been a popular destination when it comes to outdoor life and activities in Colorado since 1983, just opened its 10th Colorado location. Yes, Colorado has many outdoor-type stores like Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, and Sportsman Warehouse, but REI just hits different to Colorado residents.
One of the longest-running outdoor living chains in Colorado is REI, which stands for "Recreation Equipment, Inc.," and has been a proud part of the Colorado community for over four decades. With the addition of another new store, they're not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
REI Co-op Opens New Location In Loveland, Colorado
REI's latest location is only the second location north of Denver (the other location is in Fort Collins) and is located in Loveland, Colorado, inside the Centerra Marketplace shopping center down the strip from Target.
The new 23,000-square-foot location took over the old Bed Bath & Beyond, but unless you knew that beforehand, you'd never be able to tell. Inside this beautifully redesigned location, you'll find a bike shop where you can get your two-wheeled ride fixed or tuned up, as well as a snowboard and ski shop that will operate in-season for all your snowboard and ski needs.
The new Northern Colorado location opened its doors on Friday, August 23rd, and has been jumping ever since. It's certainly worth putting on your must-visit list, as they did a great job with it. A welcomed addition to the area for sure.
