Popular Southern Restaurant Opens Fourth Local Colorado Location

Colorado is home to some of the very best restaurants, both local mom-and-pop as well as national chains. From homestyle sit-downs to quicker on-the-go choices, we have just about every possible option across the state.

A popular fast-casual chain known for its variety of chicken salad options is exploding onto the scene in Colorado with the grand opening of its fourth location in just the last year. The new location is ready to bring its signature dishes and southern hospitality to even more local Colorado residents.

Chicken Salad Chick in Windsor, Colorado, Is Now Open

It's official, the 4th locally franchised location of Chicken Salad Chick has opened its doors in Windsor, Colorado. The new location at 475 E. Main Street in Windsor, kicked off its huge grand opening with a line outside the building.

The first 100 customers in line received free chicken salad for a year, and trust me, this chicken salad is incredible! We had the opportunity to go visit the new location on Monday at one of their friends and family sneak peeks, and we were quickly reminded of just how fantastic this place is.

From service to the decor (with some humor sprinkled in like in the pic above), it's just a fun and friendly environment, with tasty food to back it up. Chicken Salad Chick originated in Auburn, Alabama, in 2008 in the kitchen of Stacy and Kevin Brown, and now has roughly 250 franchise locations.

Local Northern Colorado franchise owners, David and Jessica Zumbrum, visited a Chicken Salad Chick while on vacation in Auburn, and instantly knew they had to bring this southern favorite to Colorado, so they did.

Their first location opened last year in Greeley and in addition to the new Windsor location, their 3rd Northern Colorado location is set to open next month in Johnstown near Sheels. Clearly, things are going well and the demand for this delicious, yet light food option, was desired in Northern Colorado.

My favorite since my first visit is the Buffalo Barclay, which is both fantastic as a sandwich, and with crackers. They so many different options to try, so get into the new Chicken Salad Chick to try it for yourself.
