Down Side of Wage Increases
While $19.25 seems much better than the Federal Minimum Wage of $7.25 per hour, the downside of $20-per-hour wages has included a smaller number of jobs, fewer hours, fewer benefits, and a smaller share of overall hours. Hobby Lobby employees are also eligible for medical, prescription, and dental benefits as well as a 401(k).
