The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has been considered a Colorado band since they became Aspen regulars in the early 1970s. They were voted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2015, and have enjoyed a career that has featured 9 Grammy Nominations and 3 Grammy Award wins.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in Grand Junction

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is coming to the Amp at Las Colonias on Tuesday, August, 13th. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com and are going fast. General admission tickets start at around $31, with seating up front available at around $275.

Biggest Song of All-Time

1970's 'Mr. Bojangles' became the band's most notable Top Ten hit on the Billboard Country chart and 1987's platinum single 'Fishing in the Dark' went to number one on the Billboard Country chart.

The 2024 Lineup

The band coming to Grand Junction includes founding member Jeff Hanna, his son Jamie, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter, Ross Holmes, and Jim Photoglo. This has been the lineup for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band since about 2018.
