It's always exciting when a new business comes to town and opens up shop, and one of the latest to do so in Grand Junction, Colorado has been especially exciting for musicians in the area.

Guitar Center is a brand that is spread all across the United States and on March 30th, 2023, Grand Junction was given the gift of its very own Guitar Center store in the Mesa Mall.

For the last 23 years of my 36 years on this planet, if you were to have asked me what my favorite store is, my answer would always, without a doubt, be Guitar Center.

After picking up the guitar for the first time at age 13, every time I'd make a trip to Denver, Pueblo, or Fort Collins to step foot inside of a Guitar Center store, I'd always become overjoyed with happiness.

In case you're not familiar, like every other Guitar Center store, Grand Junction's new store has every wall lined with instruments, accessories, and everything you'd ever really need to be a musician, DJ, etc.

In addition to the main room, Grand Junction's Guitar Center also has a humidified room in the back for its acoustic instruments which include steel string, nylon string, and acoustic bass guitars.

The new store also offers repairs, rentals, and lessons, and even has numerous rehearsal rooms for lessons catered to the type of lessons you're getting. The types of lessons offered include guitar, bass, piano, voice, and even DJ instruction.
