In Olathe off Highway 348 at the top of the Hill you will find End of the Trail Rescue. I spoke with Lori and Cathy all about the organization. They rescue Horses and take care of them throughout each year. Cathy  lives on the premises and has been apart of the organization for 23 years. Therapy and mental health therapy for the community.

They just had their big Christmas event on December 10th, with Rescue Horses, pictures with Santa, and so much more. They care for 60 horses right now. Lori stated she has a relationship with all the rescue Horses, they brighten her day. They all have their own personalities as Lori said, just like people. The volunteers are a big part of the organization too.

They are always in need of Monetary donations, that help with feeding and caring for the horses, and therapy programs. They have a hay bank that they also use to help other horses in the community as well. They are always needing extra hay as well.

When I spoke with Cathy as said she is in charge of both non profits. There is also Dream Catcher Therapy too. Dream Catcher is for all the Therapy, and Horse Rescue is for rescued, abused Horses. It's best to book an appointment if you plan on going to check out the facility. They are also always looking for volunteers and New Board members too. Members that will help with getting donations, and that really care about Horses. They have 3 fundraisers, a Fall Festival, Denim and Diamonds (Casino Night and Live and Silent Auction), and their Christmas Fundraiser.
