Have you checked out the Montrose Visitors Center
There are many places to check out in the great small town of Montrose Colorado. So I stopped by the Visitors center for a quick visit. I was greeted by Gunnison C. he let me know about what's going on in our Community, and what the Visitors Center provides.. With the Holidays upon us Santa's Cabin is a popular attraction located at Demoret Park. You can still take the kids over for Pictures with Santa On Saturday December 17, and on the 23rd as well both days from 4-6 p.m.
Gunnison let me know up coming events for 2023. Summer Mudd Run will be happening again. Along with the 4th of July concert at Cerise Park (Montrose Rotary Ampitheater). Healthy Rhythm Art Gallery will have more Art shows, and concerts as well. There will be a new signal light coming in at the Ute Indian Museum south of town too.
When you stop by the Visitors Center don't forget to get a copy of the many brochures and Itineraries for locals, and guests visiting. Also great for landlord's and Airbnb's to get a copy of the official visitor guide for there tenants, as there is so much to see and do . The hours are limited in the winter. You can call 970-497-8558, or stop by 107 Cascade in Montrose. They are under renovation until the springtime. Check out there website as well at visitmontrose.com. Thank you to Gunnison C. for all the info and tour.
