Halloween is still over a month away, and many stores have already begun selling costumes, candy, and decorations. As the days tick by, many will get more and more excited to get into the spirit of the season. This time of year, many are excited for haunted houses, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and other spooky attractions. There is a free event coming up this October, unlike any you have ever attended, that you won't want to miss in Loveland this Halloween season.

Cake War Monster Smash in Loveland

Have you ever wanted to put on a Halloween costume, run around the park chasing people, and throw cake at them while they throw it back at you? This could become a reality for you at the first-ever Cake War Monster Smash in Loveland. The event will be happening on October 24 at KROH Park at 2 PM. The best part is that this event is free. Everyone participating will have to sign a waiver, and it is highly encouraged that you bring your own cake, cupcakes, or some sort of cake item to guarantee there are enough for the event. Costumes are highly encouraged, but if you don't want to get it messy, it is up to you whether you wear it or not during the cake war, and you are not required to wear one to participate.

Annual Cake War in Loveland

This will not be the first cake war to take place this year in Loveland. Back on August 22, the 3rd annual Cake War was also held at KROH Park. This event has been growing over the last few years, and the hope is that more and more of these events will take place and that the crowds will continue to grow. Yes, it is messy, but it is some of the most fun you will have in your life. How many times in life can you hit someone with cake and instead of making them mad, make them laugh? How many times do you get to have a food fight and not have to clean up the mess? Now imagine getting to hit a clown, a princess, a pirate, or whatever someone is dressed up as. The Cake War Monster Smash is an event you won't ever forget and will be talking about for years.
