FREE: Epic Star Gazing Event in Northern Colorado Is This Weekend

Space is incredibly fascinating. It kind of goes without saying, right? We learn new things about what is outside of Earth often and we will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

Northern Colorado has some of the clearest skies for stargazing in the country. On most nights, we have clear skies to look at stars, other planets, and patterns.

A free event is happening in Berthoud this weekend. The event will give you some key insights and you will learn a thing or two about astronomy.

Public Star Night in Berthoud

The Little Thompson Observatory is hosting a Public Star Night on Friday, March 15. The event will be free, so make sure to bring the family. Public Star Night will feature two telescopes. One telescope is 18 inches and the other is 24.

These telescopes will allow you to look into the cosmos and you will be able to look at space like you have never seen before.

When And Where to Go

The Little Thompson Observatory is located at 850 Spartan Ave, Berthoud, CO. The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Attendees can begin observing at 8:00 p.m. and the event will go until 10:00 p.m.

This is a public and free event. If the weather is an issue, Little Thompson Observatory will have activities inside of its facilities.

This seems like such a fun event to bring the whole family to. There are no reservations required either. So if you need something to do on Friday night, we would highly recommend this.
