These New Menu Items at Colorado’s Coors Field Are a Must Try
Admittedly, it's hard for Rockies fans to get excited about this upcoming season - especially given their current 1-6 record. But despite having a losing record the past few seasons, Coors Field has remained one of the most-sold-out stadiums in the MLB.
There's nothing like spending an afternoon at the ballpark - snacking on peanuts, sipping a cold beverage, and enjoying the great sport of baseball in the Colorado sunshine. But when hunger sets in, there's much more to be found on the menu at Coors Field than just a basic burger or hot dog.
On April 5, several new (and very unique) dishes made their official ballpark debut.
One of these new menu items is the Burgerito. Crossed between a burger and a burrito, this epic meal is made by filling a flour tortilla with hamburger, shoestring fries, lettuce, tomato, pico, green chili, and shredded cheddar Jack cheese. It's available at the concession stand grills near Sections 134 and 306.
Attention sports fans - the Italian Pretzel Melt has entered the game! This new concoction reigns supreme when it comes to sandwiches. It's made with Polidori Italian sausage, sliced provolone cheese, marinara sauce, balsamic vinegar glaze, white onions, and poblano peppers served on a pretzel bun. The Italian Pretzel Melt is available near section 149.

Another appetizing option added to the concessions is the Strawberry Cheesecake Quesadilla. This sweet treat combines diced strawberries, cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon, and butter between two flour tortillas. It's topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Find this delectable dessert at Fan Fare near Section 109.
Hungry Rockies fans can indulge in another delicious dish debuting at The Sandlot Brewery this season. Appropriately named The Dino Rib, this creative meal features a 20 oz. smoked beef rib served with Paratha Bread and a herb salad. Coming in at just under $30, this hearty dish is designed to be shared street-taco style among 2-4 people. Dinger would definitely devour this hunk of meat!
