There are many, many places to sit and have a great meal in Estes Park, but this one has been at it for over 30 years, with authentic Mexican recipes. While many in Northern Colorado don't get to Estes enough, putting this one on your list of places to check out, is a good idea.

Casa Grande boasts that they use recipes handed down from their grandmothers in central Mexico.

To me, it was one of those "I never even knew" experiences when friends and I found Casa Grande for the first time. We were in Estes for a 5K and "being tourists;" we were starving after that run, and found Casa Grande.

They're technically on Elkhorn right across from Bond Park- they have a "north" entrance there; but really, they're along the Riverwalk to the south. That Riverwalk is something to behold on its own, with Casa Grande being a nice little spot.

Great Food, Great Views at Casa Grande

Not only do they have seating close to the Riverwalk and the river, but inside there's plenty of seating (for those cold winters) where they have big beautiful windows that brings natural light in while having great views of the scenery.

Using recipes from central Mexico, their menu is full of tasty authentic selections; they have a full bar, a great selection of margaritas, and tequilas. I could see having a very great night there, while staying the night nearby.
