According to Loveland Police, on January 8, the Gunnison County Sheriff's Office arrested Garland Jay Coblentz of Loveland, in connection to the case, on the charge of Attempted Robbery.

It's not often we here about bank robberies in Colorado, let alone in Loveland. This attempted one will live on for years to come. Add in the fact, that the suspect kind of looks like Broncos Head Coach, Sean Payton.. Holy cow.

Attempted Loveland, Colorado, Bank Robbery Thwarted by Bad Handwriting
Imagine: working at a bank during Christmastime, and man walks in and hands you a note. People do crazy things during the holidays, bank robbery is not out of the question, for some.
It happened on December 17, 2024, at an FNBO in Downtown Loveland. Loveland Police report a man came in just before 5:00 p.m. and handed one of the tellers a note. When the teller had a hard time trying to read what the note said, the man got mad and left.
