The 5 Best Disc Golf Courses in Colorado For 2025
Disc golf in Colorado continues to grow in popularity, as more and more people become introduced to it. A popular disc golf app's team has rated the top five courses in Colorado for 2025.
The Five Best Disc Golf Courses Across Colorado
I've been a disc golfer for over 30 years; I'm not going to say I'm great at it, but I do enjoy it, much like those who shoot links golf. I like disc golf because it's (generally) free, there isn't expensive equipment, and it's more laid back.
UDisc reports that an average of 3.2 disc golf courses opened every day in the U.S. in 2024.
In Northern Colorado there are some good courses: Edora Park's, the Estes Park one attached to the 9-hole links course, and the Promontory course outside of Greeley stand out. It's a shame that none from the Northern Colorado region made this list of "five best."

Put together by the team at UDisc, an app that caters to disc golfers, they released their list of the "5 Best Courses in Each U.S. State" in early May of 2025. There's one thing you can take away from just the title: Every state does have at least five courses; I found that a little surprising, in a good way.
Colorado is one of the great states for disc golf, because the state has a lot of "mountainous" areas that attract diehard disc golfers. I am more of a leisure player, though occasionally I'll seek out an "adventure" course, like the course that goes up and down the ski slopes of A Basin. I won't be doing that one, again.
