One Of Colorado’s Largest Concert and Rodeo Festival’s Wraps-Up

Summertime in Colorado can be pretty jam-packed if you like to go to local events around the state. One of Colorado's largest, if not the largest summer event just wrapped up its 102nd year.

Farewell to Colorado's Largest Concert and Rodeo Festival For 2024

One of Colorado's most popular beloved and anticipated events has wrapped up another successful year of shows, rodeos, snacks, rides, shopping, and more, with many amazing memories made in the process.

As one of, if not the largest concert and rodeo festivals in the state, this popular event once again showed us that when it comes to old-school traditions, blended with modern entertainment, it's hard to beat what they're doing in Greeley, Colorado.

The Greeley Stampede Wraps Up Their 2024 Season

Taking over Island Grove Park from June 25th through July 7th, this year's Greeley Stampede featured multiple fantastic rodeo competitions, incredible live musical performances, loads of family-friendly activities, and so much more.

This year we saw popular musical acts like Chris Young, a sold-out Old Dominion show, T.I., the legendary Cheap Trick, and many other truly incredible live musical performances, both national and local artists alike all across Island Grove.

Thank You Greeley Stampede Committee And Wrangler Volunteers

From the rodeos, concerts, carnival, and all of the other magic that the Greeley Stampede has to offer, it simply couldn't be done without the incredible Stampde Commitee and Wrangler volunteers who truly make this event happen each year.

To the consumer, the stampede is just there, with no knowledge of what it actually takes behind the scenes. It's easy to assume they have a massive staff who just sit back and watch it go, but that's not the case.

Outside of the hundreds of volunteers, there are less than 10 actual Greeley Stampede staff members, who work tirelessly not just through the event each year, but in the many months ahead of the event to make sure the next one is the best one yet.

After being out at this year's events multiple times, we have to take our hats off to Justin Watada, Kevin McFarling, Julie Reinert, and the rest of the GS staff and volunteers, including the incredible Stampede Committee, for putting on another spectacular event in 2024.
