Born in raised in Colorado, I've been spoiled with all of the amazing food choices we have. To the point where anytime I go out of town and try the "best" local restaurants wherever I'm visiting, they always fall short.

We have some of the very best local homegrown restaurants in the world, but we also have some fantastic locally-owned franchised chain restaurants as well. We had lunch at one of those over the weekend and were blown away.

Chicken Salad Chick In Colorado Is Fantastic

From the customer service to the food and atmosphere, we absolutely love the "Chicken Salad Chick." Owned by a local couple in Northern Colorado, this was Colorado's very first location and is still the only location north of Colorado Springs.

Chicken Salad Chick in Greeley, Colorado, is one of our favorite new restaurant choices, especially when looking for a lighter option. The owner started by selling door-to-door to friends and family and now has over 200 restaurant franchises nationwide. It's clear that this taste of Southern hospitality is wildly popular.

The service, the atmosphere, and the menu, including their famous chicken salad choices, are exactly why people are buzzing about this fantastic restaurant anytime one opens near them. Colorado has two locations with one (soon to be two) of them being right in Northern Colorado. Here's what to expect when you visit this new locally owned and operated favorite.

This Local Mexican Restaurant Is Hands Down One Of The Best In Colorado
