The NFL and the Denver Broncos allow fans one clear one-gallon freezer bag, subject to mandatory bag checks. A small clutch purse measuring 6.5' x 4.5' is also allowed. Metal detectors may be used to search you or your belongings. Stadium staff may deny items subject to their own discretion. See the bag policy here.
Enforcement & Consequences at Empower Field
Show up with a prohibited item and you’ll probably lose it. Mile High follows a confiscate-or-deny-entry policy, which means once something is taken, it’s not coming back. Refuse to give it up, and you could be ejected without a refund—no matter what you paid for your ticket.
More serious violations can lead to fines or legal trouble in Denver. According to the venue’s code of conduct, security has the final say. Break the code of conduct, and you might even have to complete a $250 online course before you’re allowed back in for another event.
