In the Colorado wilderness, it's extremely uncommon to run into more than one rattlesnake at a time, and even that is typically a rare occurrence.
However, there is a way to see numerous rattlesnakes living together in Colorado at any time from the comfort of your own harm with no risk of being bitten.
Colorado Has a Rattlesnake Livestream
The video above is not finite in nature but is rather a 24/7 live stream of a real-life rattlesnake colony at an undisclosed location in Colorado.
Known as a rookery, it's here that the colony of rattlesnakes can be found breeding, shedding, basking in the sun, and more.
It's also at this rookery that dozens of pregnant or gravid female snakes spend their pregnancies protecting themselves from predators and eventually, will give birth and care for their young.
The feed first went live back in May and will continue to document the rattlesnakes in real time until October.
The rookery is said to be home to hundreds of these Prairie Rattlesnake specimens and while watching the video stream can be educational, intriguing, and to some, fun, the location of the rookery remains undisclosed for the safety of the snakes as well as the general public.
