One of the newest Colorado businesses to shutter its doors for good was a popular sports bar famous for its specials, including bottomless wings, and was a staple of the Wash Park neighborhood of Denver for 35 years.
Denver, Colorado's Pub on Pearl Closes its Doors for Good
The establishment was known as The Pub on Pearl and was located at 1101 Pearl Street in the Wash Park neighborhood of Denver for 3.5 decades.
The Pub on Pearl's official Facebook page made the announcement just a few days prior to its permanent closure on Sunday, August 10, 2025:
The Pub on Pearl was a popular place to watch sporting events on TV, and one of its biggest draws was its 50-cent bottomless wings special, which took place each Thursday night.

Unfortunately, the weekly bargain on chicken wings couldn't sustain the business, as, like many Colorado establishments that have gone out of business in recent memory, rising costs of things like food and rent are reportedly the biggest factors in the unfortunate decision for the Pub on Pearl to permanently close.
This announcement was made right on the heels of another popular wing restaurant, Hooters in Lone Tree, announcing that it was closing its doors for good as well, leaving only three of the franchises in the state.
