I admit it's been a few years since I hard-boiled eggs for Easter, and colored them. No small kids in the house anymore. And with egg prices still hovering at 4 to 5 dollars a dozen, it may not be so practical.

What is your Easter tradition?

I'm Catholic, so I go to church first, then usually brunch. Plenty of sugared marshmallow peeps, Cadbury eggs, and jelly beans throughout the day. I gave up sugar for lent.

Do you plan on hiding plastic eggs in your yard?

Haven't done that for a while either, but my friends do. Love putting jelly beans in them or quarters, even a dollar for the big kids.

Will you be making an Easter dinner?

My husband will most likely bake a honey-glazed ham. Sunday dinner is usually a big deal anyways. It makes for less cooking during the work week.

Easter is a time for family gatherings and hopefully, the weather is nicer too. Though there are way too many weeds popping up in my yard. Whatever you have planned, I hope you have a great Easter and springtime season.
