10 Pictures to Help You Appreciate Living in Colorado
It's easy to take for granted how good we have it here in Colorado. I know I have to remind myself on a fairly regular basis that, as much as I liked living in Florida and Ohio, Colorado doesn't usually get weather that literally blows you away, which is surprisingly rare in the US, believe it or not.
Mostly decent weather is far from the only thing Colorado has to offer, as we're surrounded by, for my money, the best scenery in the country. While I concede that I'm quite partial to the mountain aesthetic, I have also been all over this country, and have yet to find any place as beautiful as the Centennial State.
Again, that's all well and good, but it's also easy to forget about when you see it every day. That's the real problem with having too much of a good thing: it becomes less exciting as time goes by. You may recall that I've previously come to the same discovery about Colorado's relationship with marijuana, which has been legal now for over ten years. Those examples aren't even scratching the surface of evidence available that all but proves the old adage, "Familiarity breeds contempt."
In an effort to give you the opportunity to stop and take stock of how great Colorado can be, lest you come to find it contemptible, I took a quick trip to Google Maps and found some images that just might help. Take a look at the gallery below, and enjoy the fact that you live in Colorado. At the very least, it's better than Alabama.
