A number of popular hikes in Colorado carry with them a secret history. While not commonly known in most cases, hikers have reported ghostly apparitions, disembodied voices, sudden drops in temperature, and "strange energy" at these Colorado locations.

A video appeared last week (April 24, 2023) highlighting a number of haunted Colorado hikes. What's probably most disturbing is the likelihood you've visited most of these places before, unaware of the paranormal activity associated with them.

Haunted Hikes In Colorado

Here in Colorado you frequently hear of haunted mines, ghost towns, hotels, and cemeteries. Rarely does one hear mention of haunted hikes. The Youtube channel "The Speakeasy" recently published the video "Haunted Hikes In Colorado." The post reads:

From historic ghost towns whose many trails are roamed by the restless spirits of past inhabitants, to massacre sites where chilling apparitions roam grounds literally soaked in blood. The Speakeasy has been busy submitting videos to Youtube since 2015. Their bio reads:

Colorado Locations You May Not Have Known Were Haunted

Have you heard of apparitions and a ghost train at Colorado's Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve? I've been to the Great Sand Dunes numerous times, and to date, have never heard mention of any kind of paranormal activity.

The website Great Sand Dunes Oasis states, "The amazing beauty of the Great Sand Dunes makes you forget that the area also has a long, and mysterious history of strange and unusual phenomena."
