Hey Colorado, What’s the One Song You Want Played at Your Funeral?
If you've ever had the opportunity to listen to me, "Michael Moon In The Morning on KUBC GOLD," you would know that I am a big fan of music and the history behind it. So it's not surprising that I spend the Thanksgiving weekend catching up on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions and many music documentaries.
I also came across an article in Far Out Magazine in regard to Mick Fleetwood. He was asked, "which song he’d like played at his funeral," Fleetwood Mac's drummer and founding member seemed a bit shocked by the question. He took a moment and then replied with, “I’d probably pick ‘Songbird’ by Christine McVie.
FLEETWOOD MAC - SONGBIRD
I personally would have chosen "Don't You Forget About Me," and behind the coffin, I would have posted a large picture of me walking across Medford RedHawks field pumping my fist in the air.
We asked our listeners on Facebook, What song would they choose when it came to their last hurrah. Here is just a small sample YOU, the fans, put together.
Lenny Stephens - Go Rest High on that Mountain- Vince Gill
Mark Rackay - Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Russ Rydberg - Oingo Boingo "Dead Man's Party"

Ilene Lewis - Spirit in the sky - Norman Greenbaum
Tammy Millsap Bravo - These boots were made for walking - Nancy Sinatra
Nancy Lindsey - Chris Tomlins “ Amazing Grace/ my chains are gone”
