Do Bond Villains Live in Telluride Colorado?
You know, I love talking about interesting or impressive houses. That's quite a lot of what I do during my day, to be honest, and I'm not even in the market for a house, myself. Surfing the web for cool homes on the Western Slope, as I want to do, I stumbled across this home in Telluride, and I just had to share it.
I don't know about you, but everything about this home, from its location to its design, just screams, "This is someone's lair." Yes, this looks to be the house of just about any villain from a Bond movie, up to and including Christoph Waltz in Spectre. Heck, even Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers series would love this place. He could blast his face into the mountain rocks behind him, then make dirty jokes about it for 90 minutes.
Seriously, this home looks as though it's practically bursting from the mountainside. Add in the overwhelming seclusion afforded by the ample amount of trees surrounding the area, and you can see how Doctor Doom might feel safe out here. Honestly, this looks like more of a compound than a house, with plenty of space to store your Doombots!
Not to mention, being where it is in the mountains, those views from the living and dining areas are quite impressive. Intimidating, even. I'm not saying this is the perfect place to bully the board of your evil corporation into submitting to your iron will, but it's not not that.
This place has to be seen to be believed. Check out the gallery below, and find out more about the house at Realtor.com, just in case you're interested in launching your own supervillain ambitions. I mean, you do you; I'm not here to judge.
