Living in the future is great. With the power of the internet, we have so much information at our fingertips that we can learn just about any piece of information in an instant, while also continuing to rely upon overused phrases like, "at our fingertips." That is some kind of magic trick, right there.

If you have the time and nothing better to do with it, you could spend an entire day just playing with Google. No, that's not a euphemism; I literally mean that going to Google and playing around with the webpage and its functions can take up an entire day. You don't even really need to have a goal. You can just open Google Maps, drag and drop the little yellow dude, and see what comes up.

As a matter of fact, that's precisely what I did this morning, and it was as much fun as I just said it would be. With the animation of the little guy falling into the map, and freakishly detailed images available on command, you've got the perfect distraction for a mind beaten down by an underappreciated day at work. So, I sent the Google Guy on a random trip through Google Maps, and he was nice enough to take some pictures of his trip that I will share with you below.

On a related note: does anyone know if the little yellow Google Guy has a name? Is that just the AOL guy's new job? Let us know what you think with AppChat.
